Some facts about me

I'm a senior sub-editor at Sky Sports News, which means I get paid to watch sport and write occasional puns. My favourite is 'From San Marino... to Dan Marino'.

Before joining Sky, I was a reporter on the Express & Echo in Exeter and The Argus in Brighton. I got to interview lots of interesting people including Ken Clarke and George and Zippy from Rainbow. And I saw the Transit of Venus with Sir Patrick Moore and Brian May from Queen.

I got married in a zoo.

I came third in a national picture book competition a few years ago.

I once had a crossword written about me by the great Araucaria of The Guardian.

I'm distantly related to the wrestler Big Daddy.
